For people starting out
Start a dryer vent cleaning business — using the exact playbook I run mine on.
Not theory. The real pricing card, the real scripts, the insurance paperwork that buildings actually accept, and the customer-getting steps that filled my calendar — taken straight out of a working Brooklyn dryer vent company and handed to you to copy.
You get it straight away. No waiting and nothing to watch your inbox for — you land on your copy the moment you've paid, and the link stays yours.
All sales are final — no refunds.
It's a digital download you can read and print in an hour, so I can't take it back. Everything I'm selling is described in full on this page — read it first, and email me if anything's unclear before you buy.
First, something the other guys won't tell you
Nearly every page selling you this business quotes the same line: 17,000 dryer fires a year, $236 million in damage. I used to repeat numbers like that on my own website. Then I went looking for the source, couldn't stand one up, and deleted every one of them.
You don't need invented statistics to sell this service. Clogged vents are a real problem, customers can see the lint you pull out, and that's enough. This kit contains no scare stats, no invented figures, and no income promises — because the fastest way to wreck a local business is to get caught exaggerating.
What's inside
Eight parts. Every one of them is something I use in the business today.
The pricing card
Exact flat-rate prices, what each tier includes, and why flat rate beats the “starting at $89” bait-and-switch that most of this industry runs on. Includes how to price apartments, stacked units, long runs, and second dryers.
Picking your service area
How to draw a service map you can actually drive, why parking — not distance — decides which neighborhoods are worth taking, and how to set travel rules before they eat your day.
Equipment, honestly
What to buy first, what to skip, and what the expensive packages sell you that you don't need on day one. Written by someone who bought the wrong things first.
Insurance and the COI trap
What general liability actually costs, and the part nobody warns you about: buildings and co-ops routinely reject a stock certificate. What they want instead, and how to get it issued without losing the job.
Registering the business
Entity, EIN, licensing — plus the one that blindsides people: if you plan to text customers, US carriers require brand and campaign registration before your messages deliver. What that involves and when to start it.
Every script I use
The phone call, the quote text, the on-my-way message, the follow-up, and the review ask. Copy them word for word, or make them yours.
Getting your first customers
Google Business Profile set up the way that actually produces calls, how to ask for reviews so people leave them, and the free local listings worth claiming (and the ones that waste an afternoon).
Booking, deposits and no-shows
How online booking with a deposit changes who shows up, how to structure the deposit so it's fair, and the scheduling window that keeps a day from collapsing.
Who this is not for
- You want a franchise, a territory, or someone to send you leads. This is a guide, not a business opportunity — you'd be building your own thing.
- You want guaranteed income. I don't make income claims, and I'd be careful with anyone who does.
- You want a licensed trade. This isn't HVAC installation or mold remediation — both need credentials this kit doesn't give you.
If you want to do the work yourself, keep your prices honest, and build something that pays you — that's who I wrote this for.
Why take it from me
I run Vent Pro NYC, a family-owned dryer vent cleaning company in Brooklyn. We clean vents in New York City and New Jersey, we charge one flat rate, and we never upsell at the door.
I also built the software the company runs on — the online booking, the deposits, the text messaging, the invoicing. Which means I didn't just learn this trade; I had to write down every rule it runs by. That's what this kit is.
You can check the business yourself: ventpro.nyc. Real prices, real service area, real reviews.

Questions
- How fast do I get it?
- Immediately. Stripe takes the payment and drops you straight onto your copy — no waiting, no “watch your inbox.” The link is yours permanently, it works on your phone, and you can save it as a PDF from your browser.
- Can I get a refund?
- No — all sales are final, and I'd rather say that plainly up front than bury it. This is a digital guide you can read and print within an hour of buying, so there's no way to hand it back. Everything you're getting is described in full on this page, and if anything is unclear, email me BEFORE you buy and I'll answer honestly.
- Is this just a PDF?
- It's a set of documents you can actually use: the pricing card, the scripts, the checklists, the insurance and registration walkthroughs. Things you copy and edit, not a book you read once.
- Will this work outside New York?
- The pricing logic, scripts, equipment guidance and customer-getting playbook travel anywhere. The licensing and insurance specifics are written from New York and New Jersey — you'll need to check your own state's rules, and the kit tells you exactly what to look up.
- Do you sell equipment or take a cut?
- No. There are no affiliate links in the kit and nothing to buy from me afterward. That's the whole reason I can tell you what not to buy.
- Who are you?
- I run Vent Pro NYC, a family-owned dryer vent cleaning company in Brooklyn serving New York City and New Jersey. I also built the booking and invoicing software the business runs on. This kit is how that business actually operates.
